1. General Service Disclaimer
By tendering items to Pack & Ship Etc. for packing, shipping, freight, mailbox, printing, scanning, copying, design, or related services, the customer acknowledges and agrees to the following Terms & Conditions. Services are provided subject to carrier tariffs, transportation regulations, customs requirements, carrier policies, and company procedures.
Pack & Ship Etc. reserves the right to refuse service for any shipment, package, freight item, mailbox account, print order, or transaction deemed unsafe, prohibited, improperly packaged, fraudulent, suspicious, or inconsistent with company policy or applicable law.
Pack & Ship Etc. is an independently owned and operated business and is not owned or operated by any carrier.

Pack & Ship Etc. does not physically transport or deliver shipments, but instead tenders shipments to the carrier selected by the customer.
Customers agree to comply with all rules, regulations, limitations, restrictions, and transportation policies established by the selected carrier.
Carrier Relationship Disclaimer
Pack & Ship Etc. does not represent, act on behalf of, control, or serve as an agent of any carrier, including but not limited to:
Pack & Ship Etc. operates solely as an independent third-party retail service provider offering contractual shipping, packaging, mailing, freight, printing, and related business services utilizing carrier transportation networks selected by the customer.
Pack & Ship Etc. does not control carrier transportation operations, routing decisions, customs clearance processes, delivery procedures, scanning accuracy, transit times, service guarantees, claim determinations, or refund approvals.
All transportation services are ultimately governed by the terms, conditions, tariffs, limitations of liability, and operational policies established by the selected carrier.
Customers acknowledge that carrier decisions regarding transportation, delivery, inspections, delays, claims, refunds, customs actions, or service suspensions are made solely at the discretion of the carrier and are outside the control of Pack & Ship Etc.
For additional information regarding carrier-specific terms of service, shipping limitations, prohibited items, service guarantees, liability limitations, claims procedures, customs policies, and transportation regulations, customers should visit the official websites of their selected carriers.
This includes, but is not limited to:
Carrier policies, tariffs, transportation regulations, and service guarantees are subject to change without notice and may supersede information provided at the time of shipment.
SHIPPING & PACKING TERMS
2. Customer Responsibility for Shipment Information
The customer is solely responsible for providing accurate and complete:
The customer acknowledges having examined all addresses, recipient information, shipment details, and services selected on the shipping receipt and confirms their accuracy.
The customer further agrees to pay all charges associated with the shipment according to the applicable card issuer agreement and carrier billing requirements.
Pack & Ship Etc. is not liable for delays, returns, customs holds, seizure, non-delivery, additional fees, or losses caused by inaccurate or incomplete information.
Pack & Ship Etc. is not responsible for shipments sent to non-validated or improperly provided addresses. Shipments sent to unverified or invalid addresses may not qualify for carrier refunds, claims, or guaranteed service refunds.
The customer warrants that all shipping information and recipient addresses are complete and accurate.
If a carrier determines that an address correction, reroute, intercept, forwarding request, or alternate delivery service is necessary, the customer agrees to pay any additional carrier fees, surcharges, penalties, or transportation charges associated with such services.
3. Packing Advisory Disclaimer
Pack & Ship Etc. employees act as shipping and packaging consultants based on industry experience and carrier requirements.
If a customer declines recommended packing methods, cushioning, crating, double-boxing, freight services, repacking, or insurance recommendations, the customer assumes all risk associated with potential damage or loss.
Photographs, signed waivers, and shipment documentation may be retained as evidence of packaging condition at the time of shipment acceptance.
4. Pre-Packed Shipment & Refusal of Packing Services Disclaimer
If a shipment is pre-packed by the customer, or if the customer declines recommended packing services, cushioning, double-boxing, crating, repacking, or other packaging advice provided by Pack & Ship Etc., the customer acknowledges and agrees that Pack & Ship Etc. shall not be held liable for any damage claims, denied insurance claims, carrier claim denials, concealed damage, or losses associated with insufficient or improper packaging.
The customer further understands that carrier acceptance of a package does not constitute approval of packaging adequacy, and that carriers and third-party insurers may deny damage claims if packaging is determined to be inadequate during inspection.
By tendering a pre-packed shipment or refusing recommended packing services, the customer assumes all risk associated with transportation-related damage.
5. Guaranteed Service Refund (GSR) / Money-Back Guarantee Disclaimer
Pack & Ship Etc. adheres to the Guaranteed Service Refund (GSR), also known as Money-Back Guarantee (MBG), policies of the carrier selected by the customer. Pack & Ship Etc. does not maintain a separate transportation refund policy independent of carrier rules and limitations.
GSR/MBG only applies to select transportation services specifically designated by the carrier and is generally limited to BASE transportation charges only.
Refunds, when approved by the carrier, typically exclude:

Additional handling fees

The following services are generally NOT covered by money-back guarantees:
All carrier service guarantees, including Guaranteed Service Refunds (GSR) and Money-Back Guarantees (MBG), may be suspended, modified, or limited during peak shipping seasons, holidays, severe weather events, natural disasters, national emergencies, labor disruptions, government actions, transportation interruptions, pandemics, public health emergencies (including situations similar to the COVID-19 pandemic), or other force majeure events as determined by the carrier.
During these periods, transit times are considered estimates only and are not guaranteed regardless of service level purchased.
Pack & Ship Etc. does not control carrier operational policies or guarantee carrier refund eligibility during suspended guarantee periods.
Pack & Ship Etc. is not responsible for carrier transit delays or denied refund requests.

Customers Please Note: Pack & Ship Etc. only recognizes USPS Priority Mail Express as a 2-Day or 3-Day domestic express service. Pack & Ship Etc. does not guarantee USPS Priority Mail Express as a next-day delivery service.
6. Insurance & Declared Value Disclaimer
Declared value or insurance coverage does not guarantee claim approval.
All self-packaged parcels must meet carrier packaging standards to qualify for insurance or declared value protection.
Insurance/Declared Value coverage may be VOID if:

Packaging does not adequately protect contents

Cushioning is insufficient
-
Fragile items are improperly packed
-
Outer packaging reveals or suggests the contents inside

The shipment violates carrier packaging standards

The shipment contains prohibited or restricted items
For fragile shipments, adequate cushioning surrounding contents may be required to satisfy carrier packaging standards.
Carrier and third-party insurance providers may deny claims involving:

Theft after delivery confirmation
Loss due to theft occurring AFTER confirmed delivery is generally NOT covered by carrier insurance or declared value protection.
Televisions, monitors, plate glass, framed glass, neon signs, ceramics, fragile figurines, and certain inherently fragile articles may be excluded or limited from declared value or insurance coverage.
Computers, televisions, monitors, electronic devices, and similar equipment may have limited coverage restrictions imposed by carriers or insurers.
Coverage may be limited to external physical damage only and may exclude:
In order to establish actual cash value in the event of loss or damage, the customer may be required to provide:
Declared value entered at the time of shipment does not constitute proof of value.
All claims must be reported within applicable carrier or insurer claim filing deadlines. Certain claims may require notice within fifteen (15) days of delivery.
The customer and recipient agree to fully cooperate with carrier, insurer, and Pack & Ship Etc. claim investigation procedures.
Failure to retain original packaging materials, damaged contents, cartons, or failure to comply with carrier inspection requests may result in denial of claims.
Once a carrier or insurer issues a final claim determination, the customer acknowledges that no additional or duplicate claims may be pursued regarding that shipment.
Pack & Ship Etc. is not the insurer and does not control claim determinations made by carriers or third-party insurers.
Customers should review all carrier and insurer terms prior to shipment.

7. Signature Release & Delivery Liability Disclaimer
Residential FedEx, UPS, DHL, and USPS shipments may be left at the delivery address provided by the sender unless signature confirmation service is specifically requested and purchased.
Direct Signature may be required by carriers for shipments insured or declared above specified thresholds according to carrier policy.
Signature confirmation is strongly recommended for high-value shipments.
Customers declining signature confirmation services acknowledge and agree that Pack & Ship Etc. shall not be held responsible for loss, theft, or damage occurring after carrier-confirmed delivery.
Carriers reserve the right, at their sole discretion, to withhold delivery if the driver believes leaving a package unattended may be unsafe, insecure, weather-exposed, or otherwise inappropriate for release without signature. In such situations, the carrier may attempt redelivery at a later time, hold the package at a carrier facility, or require customer pickup.
Delivery release decisions are made solely at the discretion of the carrier and are outside the control of Pack & Ship Etc.

By declining to add signature confirmation services to applicable shipments, the customer releases Pack & Ship Etc. from liability for loss or theft occurring after delivery confirmation by the carrier.
8. USPS Hazardous Materials & Restricted Contents Acknowledgment
The customer acknowledges that Pack & Ship Etc. has verbally inquired whether USPS shipments contain:
The customer certifies that all shipment contents have been accurately disclosed and that no prohibited or undeclared hazardous materials are present within the shipment.
The customer assumes all legal and financial responsibility for undeclared hazardous materials or prohibited contents tendered for shipment.
9. Inherent Vice / Fragile Item Disclaimer
Certain items are inherently susceptible to damage regardless of packaging quality, including but not limited to:

Even professionally packed shipments may experience damage during transportation due to vibration, compression, impacts, handling equipment, conveyor systems, or carrier sorting operations.
No packing method can guarantee against all transportation risks.
10. Freight Shipment Disclaimer
Freight pricing is based on estimated dimensions, weight, freight class, density, accessorials, and market conditions at the time of quoting.

Transit times for international shipments are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
The customer is solely responsible for:

Customers acknowledge that customs authorities and international carriers may inspect packages without notice.
If a shipment is returned due to incomplete documentation, refused delivery, prohibited contents, unpaid import charges, inaccurate recipient information, or customs non-compliance, the customer remains fully responsible for all associated charges.
If corrections, edits, or supplemental information are required for customs forms or shipping documentation after shipment processing, the customer authorizes Pack & Ship Etc. personnel to complete or amend documentation on the customer’s behalf using information previously provided by the customer.
Pack & Ship Etc. does not guarantee customs clearance, international delivery dates, or international claim approval.
11A. Harmonized System (HS) Code Disclaimer
Pack & Ship Etc. may provide general guidance or assistance regarding Harmonized System (HS) Codes, Schedule B Codes, tariff classifications, or customs descriptions solely as a customer convenience.
The customer acknowledges that:

HS Codes are ultimately the responsibility of the shipper/exporter

Customs authorities may interpret or classify products differently

Suggested HS Codes provided by Pack & Ship Etc. are not legal customs determinations

Incorrect HS classifications may result in duties, taxes, customs delays, shipment holds, penalties, seizures, audits, or returned shipments
If the customer does not know the proper HS Code, Pack & Ship Etc. may provide a general or estimated classification based solely on the information provided by the customer.
The customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Pack & Ship Etc. from any liability, penalties, customs actions, delays, fines, additional duties, brokerage fees, or losses resulting from incorrect, incomplete, or disputed HS Code classifications.
Pack & Ship Etc. does not guarantee the accuracy, acceptance, or legal validity of any suggested HS Code, tariff classification, or customs description.
Customers are encouraged to consult licensed customs brokers, customs authorities, or trade compliance professionals for official classification guidance.
12. Prohibited & Hazardous Materials Disclaimer
Customers are prohibited from shipping undeclared hazardous materials, prohibited items, illegal substances, firearms, ammunition, explosives, flammable materials, radioactive materials, controlled substances, gambling devices, live animals, corrosives, infectious substances, drug paraphernalia, restricted lithium batteries, or any item prohibited by carriers or governmental agencies through Pack & Ship Etc.
Pack & Ship Etc. is not a hazmat-certified shipping facility.
Any package tendered to Pack & Ship Etc. may be opened, inspected, refused, or rejected at any time to verify compliance with carrier regulations, transportation security requirements, customs laws, hazardous materials regulations, or company policies.
Any customer who tenders prohibited or undeclared hazardous materials assumes full legal and financial responsibility for resulting fines, damages, cleanup costs, transportation penalties, criminal liability, or carrier assessments.
12A. Drop-Off Shipment Disclaimer
Pack & Ship Etc. accepts prepaid, third-party billed, QR code, Label Broker, and customer-labeled drop-off shipments as a public convenience service only.
Pack & Ship Etc. does not assume liability for drop-off shipments for:
Customers tendering drop-off shipments acknowledge that Pack & Ship Etc. acts solely as a receiving agent for the designated carrier.
Pack & Ship Etc. is not responsible for tracking, tracing, filing claims, or resolving disputes involving drop-off shipments unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Any shipment tendered to Pack & Ship Etc. may be refused, inspected, or rejected if it appears unsafe, damaged, improperly packaged, leaking, hazardous, suspicious, or inconsistent with carrier regulations.
MAILBOX & MAIL HANDLING TERMS
13. Mailbox Service Disclaimer
Mailbox customers must comply with all USPS Form 1583 requirements and maintain valid identification documentation.
Mail may only be released to authorized individuals.
Pack & Ship Etc. is not liable for delays, misdeliveries, forwarding issues, carrier errors, or losses caused by third-party carriers or postal services.
Mail and packages may be returned, refused, disposed of, or considered abandoned if accounts become inactive, unpaid, or non-compliant.
14. Digital Mail & Scan Disclaimer
Exterior mail scanning and digital mailbox services are provided as a convenience service only.
Image quality, OCR accuracy, upload timing, and scan visibility are not guaranteed.
Customers requesting mail opening or content scanning authorize Pack & Ship Etc. to handle mail on their behalf.
PRINTING & DESIGN TERMS
15. Copyrights, Permissions & Print Production Disclaimer
Customers are solely responsible for all copyrights, permissions, licensing rights, confidentiality obligations, intellectual property rights, and legality associated with any item printed, copied, scanned, duplicated, laminated, designed, engraved, packed, or shipped through Pack & Ship Etc.
Customers warrant that they possess all necessary ownership rights or permissions for submitted files, artwork, trademarks, logos, photographs, and copyrighted materials.
Pack & Ship Etc. reserves the right to refuse reproduction of materials that may violate copyright laws, trademark laws, licensing agreements, or other legal restrictions.
Pack & Ship Etc. will not duplicate keys marked “Do Not Duplicate.”
Customers are responsible for verifying spelling, dimensions, artwork placement, colors, and final proof approvals prior to production.
Actual printed colors may vary due to:

GENERAL LIABILITY TERMS
16. Limitation of Liability
Pack & Ship Etc.’s liability shall not exceed:

17. Documentation & Record Retention
Pack & Ship Etc. reserves the right to photograph shipments, retain shipping records, maintain digital transaction records, and preserve customer documentation for operational, legal, training, insurance, fraud prevention, and compliance purposes.
18. Video & Audio Recording Disclaimer
For security, training, fraud prevention, loss prevention, operational quality control, and safety purposes, Pack & Ship Etc. premises may be monitored by video and audio surveillance systems.
By entering the premises or conducting business with Pack & Ship Etc., customers acknowledge and consent to video and audio recording where permitted by applicable law.
19. Right to Refuse Service
Pack & Ship Etc. reserves the right to refuse service to any customer at any time for any lawful reason, including but not limited to:
